No, Volvo stays for Stel. I need something to do the motorway schlep now I'm not working in central London. Will be selling the Mini shortly as my attempt to use that for a regular 240 mile round trip proved.... Entertaining.
On the subject of entertaining, taking clients out wasn't going to happen either!
So treating myself to a nice, sensible, if slightly dull, Merc.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Makes sense. Just don’t get too sensible, we have DG for that role.
Car dealers who helpfully offer a compromise on the spec you are after as it matches what they have in stock, but only tell you half the story:
blah blah chunter something about tax etc.
Dealer has agreed the values on the order stand. I suspect the car will be registered on the original spec wheels/build then the wheels added at the dealer as a non-factory upgrade
Delivery next Friday I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Details man, details!! I deffo see you as a B Class kind of dude.
C300 2.0 Petrol. 260bhp so not blistering but not sluggish either. Ordered in Selenite Grey (pictured) AMG-Line with Premium Pack and Memory Pack. Oh, and wheels of some kind.
I did briefly dabble with the idea of an F-Type or a late used XE-S Supercharged (and even a TT-S before I actually took a look at one) but this ticked more boxes than any of the above. MPG reasonable, very comfortable indeed, well specced, mahoosive discount, fine for Mrs Do$h and I for weekends away, can squeeze little miss Do$h in the back seat if needed.
Feel a bit dirty buying a German car, but I have consoled myself with the knowledge that it's not Bavarian.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Don’t show that photo to any of the Welsh members, it will only get them hot and bothered.
