HGV drivers because yet again one has ignored the "bridge closed to high sided vehicles" sign and crossed in high winds and blown over. 23.5MY Defender 90 X-Dynamic SE D250 MHEV Pangea Green

Littering
Prompted to resurrect this thread following a journey to the shop this morning.
Following the car in front and a cigarette packet gets flung from the drivers window. Why the do people do this? Too lazy to leave in the door pocket until they get to their destination and drop it in the bin? That ignorant to realise that their mess has to be dealt with by someone else or remain as litter looking unsightly to everyone else? I really don't know, but it's dam annoying. I can't imagine their house is some show home, spick and span, with no detritus in sight, so it isn't they want to keep their car in a similar state by removing litter immediately, via the window. Ggggrrrrr
Fortunately these types are in the minority, otherwise the roadside would be even worse than it is.

You ought to see some the grass verges round here after they have been cut! We even get Macdonalds rubbish at the bottom of our lane, the nearest Macdonalds is 11 miles away and more bizarrely from we are not on the route to anywhere.==================================

We are about 11 miles from the nearest McD. Every week, a trail of discarded boxes, bags and drinks appears along the road. I'm guessing it's the same idiots every week, on the way home from work (if they do work that is!)
When I eventually see them do it, and I will, I'll be returning some rubbish to them.Richard

This one will seem very petty, but its Huw Edwards reading the news, when he introduces whaterver reporter he is handing over to by their full name and title, then 20 seconds later when they've finshed tells us again their name and title - as if if we F***** care!
We could get 5 mins more news in without this

People in a Que all congratulating each other on being able to buy a FAN before the shop ran out,
Don't they know that you can buy them all year round and not have to wait for a heat wave to come to buy one,

My neighbour. She has really upset me this time . Swmbo loves her garden and I have to say keeps it very tidy with some very colourful blooms . However she has grown a climbing rose up the party fence unfortunately it is or was growing over the fence by about an inch or so with around 8 flowers on it ...guess what , the neighbour has cut it off ( which she is entitled to do I know ) but really when it's in full bloom .best of it is she kept it but swmbo won't let me pursue the theft route .I hate my neighbour and hate is a strong word .You're not afraid of the dark are you ?
Driving along an empty road, just me and one vehicle driving towards me in the opposite lane. A cyclist, a bloke in his 20's, rides along the pavement and presses the button on a pedestrian crossing. The lights change so me and the other driver stop and just look at each other in disbelief as the cyclist rides across the road and rides along the other pavement... if you can't cross an empty road at that age, are you safe enough to ride a bike? As you slide down the banister of life
may no splinters point your way

"Roadworks" that only seem to only have the purpose of creating a nuisance to road users.
This one is a great example, they dug the pavement up (area in blue) on Friday not sure why, with the area in red coneed off and lights in place, the hole was filled but not tarmaced yesterday, still there today and no since of further work. Its a straight stretch of road and there seems to be no reason for the lights and certainly no reason to leave them up for 24hrs a day since Friday morning.
