Got home about an hour ago, just finished dragging things out of the car in the rain. Glad we missed the Friday rush though and crossed last night. Means I'll be able to fit a beer in tonight
Thanks to everyone that's helped, be it advice on the car, the location, lending me bits and bobs, it's all much appreciated and really helped the trip go smoothly, so once again thanks.
The disco performed perfectly, one little niggle at the end. Yesterday and today it developed a strong vibration at 80mph(ish). I had the wheels balanced a week before the trip along with 4 wheel alignment. I haven't noticed any missing weights. It doesn't seem to be related to the warped discs (chronic ailment). I've not driven through it or tried to, too heavy and roof loaded. It doesn't seem to be affected my steering but at 80 you don't steer much...
Can't seem to get my head round it. Any ideas would be welcome. Also a slight smell of diesel when putting my foot to the floor (last mile stretch of slip road at my exit).D4.5 Facelift, Lazer ST4, Prospeed underbody and rack, IID BT, Compomotive/BFG KO2, Series MFlaps, RAI, Dog Gd+XBB, Alive Tuned, T-Max/YellowTop, RemoteFBH, GlassesMod, WheelWinchMod, Jack Mod, LED Mods, Seized Crank Mod....

These are the google map 'plus codes' for the locations we camped at. May come in useful, strongly recommend the last location, the others may be helpful to someone who's over there whilst it's snowy and struggles to find somewhere to both pitch a tent and park nearby.
Just paste them into google maps one by one and they should place a pin for you.D4.5 Facelift, Lazer ST4, Prospeed underbody and rack, IID BT, Compomotive/BFG KO2, Series MFlaps, RAI, Dog Gd+XBB, Alive Tuned, T-Max/YellowTop, RemoteFBH, GlassesMod, WheelWinchMod, Jack Mod, LED Mods, Seized Crank Mod....
