it appears from the paper wok i have the water capacity of the tank is 95 litres so i guess i have an issue with the sender or really bad consumption
Should have around 80 litres of usable capacity. I won't tell what that works out to if you were filling the tank after 150 miles. But as you said you can only get 35 litres in it could be the valve/float that prevents you filling past 80% could be stuck.==================================

I'm getting 15mpg (imperial) but at 30p a litre who cares?
On the remap my trusted tuner says there is one available which gives +37bhp and 40nm. Once I've done a trans flush and all fluids change he'll be doing it so I'll report back then.

Yes the range is a pain I thought the tank would be a lot bigger. Does anyone make an aux tank for the d3?

I get about 85 litres in my 100 litre tank so I'd definitely say you've got a problem.

I get 75 litres of gas in a 90 litre tank so as your 100 litre tank gives you 85 litres of gas then mine seems correct? I assume that the tank internals take up 15 litres?
I have a heavy right foot and love the ease of high cruising so I only get 180 miles ish out of a tank.Series 1 V8

No not the internals there is a 15-20% allowance for expansion of the lpg due to temperature variability.==================================

- what he said, although it can be a bit variable, on the system I had on my old car I could get 65 litres in to my 70 litre tank on a cold day. On the BRC system I have now there must be a float in the tank or similar as my full tank quantity is consistent regardless of temperature

Hi anyone got a picture of the tank fitted to the rear as i spoke to a guy today and he said the tank should be fitted level but mine is sat the same as the spare would be which means it is slightly tilted to the front and do not want to be fobbed off for something that does not need doing cheers Discovery 3 se gone

Mine is sat level, I can pop out for a pic once my boy has been put to bed ( I'm planning an evening of clock spring and airbag fun anyway!)

The tank is designed to be hung horizontally and that is the correct way of installation, its to do with the workings however I was told by an LPG fitter that you can fit it at a slight angle as long as you have the workings on the side, the downside is it does reduce capacity and therein may lie a clue to your problem.==================================
