Recovery Ropes take 2

AndrewS organised a recovery rope group buy a few months back, see Topic #7562.

I'm after a couple of recovery ropes myself, so I thought I'd open it up to others to see if we can put in a group order for a bit of a discount. Register interest here, no commitment, I'll get in touch with the suppliers and find out what the prices will be.

Updated sign-up options

Yes - exactly the same ones as the other group buy, from the same supplier - 12t nylon rope (giving about 10% stretch) with EKN hook at each end.

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Generous to a fault, they are; tow you out of trouble without going anywhere near your vehicle. Shocked

Thinking is - what you're stuck in is usually wider and gooey-er than it seems. Shocked Shocked Long tow-rope good idea

A 4m and a 9m does it for me. Bobby ask Alan what lengths work out the cheapest. It may be that 5m and/or 8m ones work out cheaper. I also have 2m lengths but rarely use them.
In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

OK, looks like there's a fair bit of interest then Smile I'll get in touch with the folks tomorrow and find out prices and how we're going to organise it.
