Had mine done at B A Transmissions a few months ago smooth as since mpg same as before cheap fix good service.

Dropped motor at Strathearn Engineering earlier today for a TC, flat out busy so could be a couple o weeks but better sitting there doin nowt than damaging it further by running it. Here's hoping the warranty pulls through, if not I'm having an expensive start to Discovery ownership. 2008 Disco 3 HSE G4 challenge,
1986 Landrover 90 300tdi conversion, mud tyres, raptor dash, winch, bucket seats, bulkhead modified for more leg room, series doors
1985 Landrover 90 4.6v8 tuned, stand alone engine management, 4" lift, external cage, 15" travel shocks, 37" tyres, bucket seats, raptor dash, galvanised chassis and bulkhead, bulkhead modified for more leg room, series doors, currently 11yr into a full rebuild

Good news today. Got the call from Strathearn to say the Landrover Inspectors been out to look over my motor and I'm getting a torque converter and gearbox under warranty. Very very happy bunny today  2008 Disco 3 HSE G4 challenge,
