Suspension / HDC / Park brake / Transmission fault |
|
Guys,
I have a 07 Discovery 3 2.7 tdv6.
I bought it 1 year ago, and 3 weeks after i got it, i had to replace the HPFP
Last week i installed a new oil pump. I drove the car for a few days, and started to get the bing bong sounds that says "Transmission control / HDC failure, special programs off etc."
I called the service center, and the guy told me that its probably the HPFP again .
(The lef EGR valve is malfunction)
it's very strange that the HPFP is failed again. Is there any thing I can do before jumping into a new 2K fuel pump?
Sorry for the bad English,
Omer

You need to get the fault code read.
I had those lights you quote light up on the dash.
It was one of the rear wheel speed sensors that was faulty.
£20 for the part and 20 mins work and all good again.
I was able to diagnose the fault as I have the IID diagnostic reader
