Hi all 👋👋
It's time to do all my bushes, it's feeling very loose. I think someone mentioned lemforder bushes are the ones to use if pressing the bushes I also read that RRS bushes fit but are firmer and to stay clear of polybushes dunno how much truth is in that. I know you can buy replacement arms but are the bushes that are fitted any good and long lasting thinking after market first line etc as genuine will cost a fortune for the whole lot. It's done 160k on original ones.
Any advise welcome.

I've just overhauled my suspension with help from AF-
New lower arms
ARB overhaul kit
Track rod end overhaul kit
I've done over bits too but the car feels so much better for it!

A lot of times (most likely) the bolt will seize on and the easiest (quickest and therefore cheapest) way to get the arm off then is just to cut through it. The new arm comes with bushings and a ball joint (will be the same as you can buy seperately) and it's just a good piece of mind to have it all shiny new in one piece.
I'm not completely sure about the cost, but I hear it's not that much more, or nothing more at all. Depending on how long it takes the mech to get the old ones off.

 Think the overall opinion is the the RRS arms/bushes are more heavy duty and longer lasting and that when everything is considered replacing the full arm is more time/cost saving. If yours have been on 160k/11yrs then I think you can be guaranteed having to cut at least the rear bolt on both arms
