It's still there but, now I understand how the LR warranty system works with their dealers, I believe that the dealer is probably doing the best that they can. There's no indication of when I'll get it back, but it certainly won't be this week. 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Come this Saturday morning they will have had it for 3 weeks.
I get the impression that they are doing their best within a slow and cumbersome warranty process laid down by LR.
What does worry me a lot though is that I've only ever had experience this sort of extremely drawn out and repeated repair process on two cars before (a new Citroen C5 in 2002 and my dad's new Rover 3500 SD1 in 1976(!)) and both of them turned out to be truly terrible cars!
I love my D4, but fear that this one may just be a bad example 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

I really hope all turns out well. It would be ironic that you got rid of a good car get to a newer one only for it to be a lemon.

Just passed the 2,000 mark in it today (with another 500 to add by Monday ) and I've not felt the love yet.
It's not a bad car at all and the best of luck to those that have them; it's just not my cup of tea... 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

It would seem that they have been given the go ahead to fit a new high pressure fuel pump today... 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Hello Jamie.
Nope, still in the loaner By Friday afternoon, it'll be 4 weeks since LRA had to collect it.
I'm desperately sad to say that it's days are now officially numbered
I wish I could say that we at least liked the RRS loaner 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

So did the fuel pump not fix the problem?
Would you get yourself another D4 then?

They were still trying to fit the pump yesterday, after having removed the body!

Well I hope the fuel pump fixes the problem! Do you think this is the likely cause?
