Agreed but nothing else I could have done without spending stupid money or doing something daft like trying to trailer it home, to be stripped on the front lawn.

Very weird last night, driving in the dark. I kind of got used to 24hr daylight this time and it wasn't a problem like in the past.

Good to be home. Now got to empty a pretty full car. After a coffee. Thumbs Up

Fuel log for RT17 before she pulled into the final lay-by. Not bad considering the weather conditions and kinds of road for the trip. I was joking with SWMBO earlier in the trip that to get those good mpg numbers she must have lost a propshaft and be 2WD. Laughing

A few of her other road trip logs on the app. Plus lots that weren't entered as such, Tunisia x 3 for example.

And Dee's first proper RT entry. There she was sitting on my drive, contemplating an easy life as Old-Dee did all the hard work and she had to just sit there and look pretty. Then she was off on an almost 4,400 mile blast over 9 days with no preparation apart from Hurdigurdie lights turned on. She did great, not a hiccup or complaint.

32.00mpg heading up to NW Norway, 31.33 mpg returning so not a lot of difference considering fairly heavily loaded coming back, plus wicked head & side winds through most of yesterday.

What I thought. Laughing Laughing Thumbs Up I was just surprised in how small the difference was heading back, expected 2 or 3 mpg difference?
