Road Trip 17 ...... Continues 🇮🇸🇸🇪
Here we go again, it's that time of year. Car is packed, hopefully not forgotten anything, and off at stupid o'clock tomorrow.
Grand plan is out as below. Across to Leipzig tomorrow where will either camp or hotel (latter with AC as forecast is 28c with thunderstorms). Then on to Warsaw, poss via http://www.flugplatzmuseumcottbus.de and Stallagluft III site/museum just into Poland. Hotel booked, again with AC as forecast is 31c with more thunderstorms. That's an improvement on earlier forecast which had it 35c!!! Up to Riga, o/night in campsite (or maybe hotel if weather is still bad) then afternoon ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki. Up the Eastern border of Finland, waving "hi" to Rooskiland plus a bit of potting around the wilderness areas of Lokka & Lake Inari. Right up to the top right corner of Norway and Grense Jakobselv.

Not decided on what I'm doing up at the top, lots of bimbling and wild camping. Expect pics of campfires with sea views.
The route back is from Alta, starting on the Postal Road, down to Sjofallets NP, hike to the crash site of Easy Elsie http://www.lancaster-archive.com/lanc_surv_nf920.htm then down to Stockholm, Gothenburg for ferry to Kiel then home.

Will bung in the odd update as I go along, plus pics of trees, trees and more trees. With the odd reindeer and, hopefully, mooses.

D3, it's what she does now. That and trips to the tip. Her gearbox has been sorted and she's just had an oil change so all looking good. This should also finish off a set of 18" ATRs, which is good as I have a virtually brand new set in the garage waiting to go on.

Will do a daily Glympse link for peeps once I'm somewhere interesting. That might not be once I'm in France as SWMBO will be watching for me heading to boulangeries and, once in Belgium, friteries.
Oh and just a little "hi" to SWMBO, she's become a bit of a lurker here. I was going to add the smilie there but thought better of it.

After describing what I'm planning to do to police/customs/passport control peeps I occasionally get asked "What on your own?". My standard answer is "Yep, wife's got more sense!".
