If you have to reverse the van onto a pitch select low range - it gives better control of movement.

Quoting this to share with one of our colleagues Wink

Are you taking it up to the Caravan club site at Peterbourgh if so it isn’t a bad site to manoeuvre around, but you have the right idea reverse it in the general direction and them use the mover

We don't have a motor mover and the thing I always struggle with is a blind side reverse onto the pitch

The comment about low range is a good one, it will slow everything down and make it much easier, however I dont think you will have an issue as Peterborugh site is a nice site with large easy access pitches, well it was last time I went there.

If it's Ferry Meadows at Peterborough then it's a Caravan Club site and they are very fussy about getting the rear offside of the van right by the white peg.
Sometimes it's possible to move the peg to the van though Whistle

So how did you get on?

Only ask as sat in the van at Ferry Meadows at the minute

They are wise to that one now, they put a circle of white pitch lining down with the post in the middle Wink
