Why would you need to do that? Certainly don´t on the install I did on mine... Question

I am using the CK7W kit via bluetooth due to getting a new phone with a non compatible cradle (Nokia E90), the sound quality is excellent and all speakers mute when in use.

Maybe the system has not been correctly fitted?

Thanks to wiggs et al for the instructions found in here Thumbs Up

I have finally succumbed to getting a car kit installed and the fitter wasn't too keen to see a 3rd party lead that I had bought (sextons direct @ £25 inc vat & carriage Bow down )

He'd never done a D3 before and was a bit concerned about pulling the dash apart so I dug in there with him.

Lemon Squeezy of a job and the chap wouldn't believe that we only had to push-fit the three wires, but I had faith in the D3 collective wisdom. Fitted all back together and now it works a treat. Razz Bow down Thumbs Up
