Was thinking that but bit hard to drain all the oil as convertor holds loads and carnt be drained from what I’ve read

It can be done relatively easy through the connection I mentioned earlier, look at filo's method in the wiki, complete dialysis.
Disconnect the pipe fit extension pipe into barrel, start the engine for a few seconds out comes 5 litres of old oil into barrel, replace with 5 litres new oil straight into the rad, start engine again for a few seconds out comes another 5 litres, replace again with new oil, check oil level at correct temp with engine running, all oil changed, job done Thumbs Up
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

You should only need 6 to 7 litres of the new oil

Bit expensive that oil Shocked

Search zf6hp oil on ebay.

It’s not expensive as they always have 55% off

Anyway just gone out there and when cold it’s loud again so not really helped

I’m at a loss now just ready to get rid of it I’m fed up with it now

There no way I’m
Spending another 2000 plus on a new gearbox just don’t see it’s worth it
And just dont trust it to go around France with me
Caravan as that’s the whole reason I brought it for cause of the reviews on towing
I’m just at a loss now really on what to do

Well just took it to a1 transmissions in BIGGLESWADE and the bloke there dave test drive it don’t loads of driveing test etc including a stall test
And the outcome nothing wrong with it or the transmission just a bit of a noisier torque convertor and nothing to worrie about and to just drain and refill the transmission a few times in the next 500 miles as to get most of the dirt out of it apart from that is fine and he did say that dextron 6 is more than perfect any full synthetic oil is fine red or yellow dealers make it yellow others make it red no difference same oil
And they are a massive company so they know what there on about feel a lot better now talking to them as they could quite easy tell me it needs all replacing at over £200 Plus
