Slide done just needs painting and a few finishing touches.
I’ve added some angle iron at the front and back which has stiffened the tray up considerably
However I might need a rethink

Bit of an update on the drawer/slider unit. Well my fridge is too tall for the slider to sit on top of the drawer unit so I’ve split them so they are now side by side. Managed to carpet the drawer and will give the slide the same treatment when I get round to it.

Thanks Dan
Just had a text from work saying we are closed for the next 3 weeks at least. So I’ll now have time to fit all the other bits and pieces I’ve got in the shed waiting to get bolted on
Updates to follow
Cheers AndyD4 MY15 SE TECH

cant wait
Mine had to go in to the garage with a restricted performance fault. It was suppose to be done tomorrow, I guess I need to see if they are closing down or I get it back tomorrow, It would be good to do the same while stuck at home.

Well that last mod was the easy one. Now for the one.
Started on my split charge system now I’ve done all the work in and around the house.
I’m fitting my auxiliary battery in the rear passenger side cubby box due to having a D4 with stop/start.
Started by getting a cable from the battery to the rear boot cubbyhole. Wanted to come in from the engine bay on the passenger side. Contemplated that for as long as it took the battery cover off and put it straight back on again
So used the usual grommet on the drivers side then the fun began getting the cable over to the passenger side through the dashboard/centre console. I’ve got a few photos of the route I took but this may or may not be the right way or easiest way but it’s in now and I’m not taking it out to start again.
My route brought me out behind the lower glovebox. Then from there it’s just the usual route along the cable channel under the door sills and Ito the boot area.
Weather permitting I’ll carry on today and update as and when
This is what I’ve got to fit.
Photos of the route I took through the dash. I’ve also took a Cat5 cable to use as a switch wire from the centre console to the rear as well.
All cable to get dressed neatly out of the way before any trim went back.

Nice one Andy.
Still got this on my list to do but ive got a traxide dual battery isolator so not a superior camping version like yours
Just finished some difficult upgrades so will need to concentrate on the house for 2 or 3 wks before I get a pass to return to the disco
Did you use the the odessey battery and prospeed batt mount in the end? In any case will be watching for tips again D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

Will be sticking with the Yellow Top for now. Haven’t got the PS bracket so will just fashion something for the time being. Rain stopped play I’m afraid so currently in the front workshop fabricating a couple of brackets for some awning lights. Th we fit quite well to the T track roof rail and clear the Prospeed rack very well. Not got the lights yet but they won’t be anything fancy. In time I might put a couple of Lightforce ROK20’s on.
Brackets currently getting painted and will fit once dry
