Hi James. Yes Redarc is good for Lithium, think the Ctek ones are as well. Not sure about the basic VSR setup though. Renogy also do DC-DC chargers for a fraction of the cost of the Redarc unit. Their products do seem to be well made and have some good write ups.

Now I do like that very flashy, is that to be mounted on the rear panel or up front?D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

Will be mounted in the rear panel plus will be using them in the power boxes I make. We are away next weekend for two weeks. Will be concentrating on the rear panel when we get home. Got a few things planned that I’ll need it for so want to get it all up and running.D4 MY15 SE TECH

Still a work in progress but new battery and Redarc unit all wired up and working. Need to tidy the wiring but that will happen when the new power panel is sorted. Also need to mount the Redarc and fit an Anderson connector for solar input.

Currently have our caravan for sale and hopping to replace it with a Penpod trailer. If that happens then will relocate the two ROK20 Lightforce lights from the D4 to the trailer. Just need to shift the caravan D4 MY15 SE TECH

Working prototype with new battery monitor ready for fitting next weekend. Will see how it goes and make necessary changes to the permanent model.

The empty space in the middle has the fuse box behind. Will look to relocate this to add a 230v outlet and inverter.D4 MY15 SE TECH

One thought I’ve had is reduce the size of the fuse box. Currently has a 12 way but could use a 6 way to give me more room.
Might need to upgrade the ah of the battery as it’s only a 50ah one. Renogy who make the recommend at least 100ah for one of their 1000w Pure Sine Wave ones. But that’s one for the future. Will still look into the smaller fuse box though D4 MY15 SE TECH

Nice gear that Renogy but costs alot of pennies. I still have my rather expensive brand new odyssey battery sat around waiting to be installed with many other bits and pieces . I suppose you could just run the inverter off the main battery with a low voltage protector?
Its been a busy year on the house so far but fingers crossed that next year I get a few bits installed.
May just send my Disco and the new parts over to you D4 HSE Lux MY16 Club Waitomo

Yes the Renogy is pricey but still cheaper than others. Will be buying more of their gear in future and see how it goes D4 MY15 SE TECH

Fitted and working. Happy with the look but will revise the layout for V2
The Renogy battery monitor seems to be a really good bit of kit. The photo shows it with my Lazer Linear Elite 18 on. Shows wattage, current and time remaining 6hrs 28minutes.
