The did it on purpose, he has a Defender and would normally have used that, but just decided to take the p ssLRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Just a thought, this happened to me but at home. LR man came and asked me if it had been in for work underneath (which it had). Cut a long story short, the battery connection to the starter was not aligned and also loose. Two minutes with a spanner and all done.
Another reason that I moved away from the Dealership I had been with for over 10 years.

It’s not too bad, he has MrsH’s D4 to raid for parts.
I’m at Shukers with MrsH’s at the mo for service and upon looking underneath to see where exactly I need to crawl on mine discover this ones got oil spray everywhere thankfully its still in warranty at the mo.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Had similar many years back - click on turning key but nothing else.
A crawl underneath with a hammer and long extension bar allowed to hit the starter motor while my lad turned the key - this freed the starter and fired the engine.
Might be no more than this on yours?
The starter was knackered but this got us home from Snowdonia OK.I see no ships........

That’d be par for the course this week, but they assured me it’s been there for a while, so I’m blaming MrsH LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
