After Wales, I found that cleaning the car was quite a challenge. Even with a pressure washer I was left with a bit of a stink. It was between stagnant water and what sheep do best.
I could not find the cause of the stink, until I opened the back doors. Around the wheel arches the mud was thick. It had also well and truely stuck in a seal on the curved part of the door around the wheel arch.
Once the seal was opened there was the muck and smell. I cleaned the whole of the seal and then it was great. So don't forget to sort out the seals if you want to get rid of the muddy stink. Best way of doing it, yes your finger

done mine took all afternoon inner wheel archs inc did a couple of touch up's with my pot of paint (nothing serious) and super glued the nicks in the tyres  feel like a 8) kid now

Hi
Don't know what everyone uses for polishing etc but if you like a serious shine that lasts you should try the Zaino polish system.
It is great stuff not cheep over here but maybe we could get some of our American buddies to send some over if possible as it is lot more reasonable over there.
Especially good on darker colours, my TD4 was Java and my 3 is Buckingham also leaves the paint smoother than anything else around.

For glass cleaning try invisible glass from www.motorgeek.co.uk best I have ever used also has disc code.

I have to say, I did not get one bit of damage on the car what so ever. I am amased, but very pleased.

I've got paint protection on mine so no need to polish but I'm tempted by the glass cleaner Cliff if it's that good as I'm yet to find anything that gets them smear free.

I find all that washing a bit tedious, my main dealer actually asked me if it was ok to wash my vehicle as apparently some people think that they are a luxury car, yeah right, I get the bosnians to wash mine once a month whether it needs it or not, and with going up and down farm tracks every day, it does tend to smell a bit, that is the usual benchmark when neighbours walk across the road to get past your car. the inside is usually very clean though. 70,000 MILES AND COUNTING

We haven't got any Bosnians round our way. Is it okay to use Poles? We've got loads of those...
Actually our local immigrant community do a damn good job in the hand car wash. I'm just a bit loathe to let them near my wheels with that pink liquid they spray on that gives off the acrid fumes. I spent over £300 quid on a paint protection job and I want my money's worth.
