Just reading here about the "LR" preferred way of wiring brake controllers with a diode. Does anyone have a diagram? I asked the dealer who was not much help other than offering to do the work.
Also, when inspecting the trailer fuses in the back of the D3, mine has had the brown wire from fuse 5 cut and joined in with the the LH brake. I assume this was done by LRA before delivery. It's a shoddy job with the join and severed wire sealed with black electrical tape. Can anyone explain this or has anyone's had this modification?

I'm guessing that they have cut the wire that goes to the Trailer brake pin in the Black plug. From the factory this was wired as a tailight pin(they have one for LH and one for RH).The effect in Australia was that if you didn't have a brake controller wired in and you hooked atrailer on with trailer brakes ,the brakes would be applied when you turned the lights on.Dealers have probably been told to cut it.
