It's actually incredibly straight forward, particularly if you have a large butane or propane gas bottle at home for use with a garden barbecue.
eBay is full of various adaptors to connect the C500 empty cans to your large barbecue bottle and then you basically, chill the C500 in a freezer for half an hour, connect the precooled can to your large gas bottle, invert the large bottle and the liquid gas flows into the C500. As long as you monitor the situation it works flawlessly. There's the odd pitfall you need to be aware of but it's totally safe.
I couldn't see the point in endlessly paying £6 or more per can when you only get 500g of gas for that outlay. The garden gas bottle contains 30 times that amount for the cost of a 6 pack of C500's.
I now also refill my own Camping Gaz 907s too. Why pay £34 for a 907 refill when you can do it yourself for under £7.
I posted this previously Link Here but didn't get much response.Mods:

I might manage to be in the Far East then, maybe on a beach in Vietnam or Thailand. Well it is supposed to be the end of Western civilisation.

It looks like a rather peaceful place to wait for the inevitable mushroom clouds and the mutant zombie army that follows it
