Those of us in the frozen North can also take advantage of great prices for gas cartridges from Highland Industrial Supplies. Often the same price as Amazon - or cheaper - and not limited to buying 6 at once.

Is there a shelf life for these canisters?
Assuming Jet Boil compatibility, those would last me about 10 years.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

They last forever, as long as you can stop the canisters rusting by not keeping them in a damp shed.
They are EN417 canisters with the 7/16 UNEF threaded valve that squillions of camping stoves - including the jetboil and clones - use.D1 300Tdi - gone

For some reason, possibly price based, I bought these in bulk. I’ve got 2 of these and not really doing camping any more. Prob enough for about 10 lifetimes.
