Thanks for the reply. Any further insight you can lend would be very much appreciated. I’m about 98% there.
I’ll go ahead and process the request for complete CCF access.

Hello everyone this thread maybe old but I wanted to inquire about the great work everyone has been doing on this Mod. I am in NY have a 2008 RRS HSE. I am highly interested in upgrading the IC with the TFT cluster. I read the entire thread but it wasn't clear if TFT was able to work on 2005-2009 RRS. I do not have a IID tool or eeprom programmer so if anyone has done this I am willing to pay for their services. I am in NYC so I can drive to you if you are close or mail my cluster to be programmed. Please please let us know...
Much appreciated
Shawn.

so they must be using a CAN converter as the car runs on one speed and the clocks on another. You will probably need to find someone who can make a board and programme a chip such as an Arduino.
Its been done now, will go on sale within next few weeks. Works on D3 and D4, but costs small a fortune which might put off lot of people as you also need to buy digital cluster for around £250-300. Install takes 5 minutes, nothing is needed, plug & play connectors behind instrument cluster. Its not Arduino, custom made PCB.

I might be distributor in Europe (week or two). I`m not allowed to offer anything here, I will be breaking rules regarding commercial posts etc.
"reasonable" - depends how deep are your pockets, different for each of us.

Yargo how are you dealing with the sensor locations on the D3 going to the cluster vs where the D4/RR have them going to the central junction box and communicating over CAN to the cluster?

Going to try this soon.
@Circuit Star-29, did you ever get around to doing a write up for this?
I have the L322 cluster ready, Programmer ready, 3.3v mod to programmer done, and tested reading the L322 cluster. Saw a VIN at the top and Display part # at the bottom, so assuming the read is correct.
Assumptions to copy from L319 to L322 are:
VIN
- not encrypted
- Also seems to be in approx the same location?
Dash Type
- is this just the display part # at the bottom?
- Also seems to be in approx the same location?
Security
- encrypted and gibberish
- Towards the bottom above the Display part #?
Miles
- encrypted and gibberish
- easy for L319 if you drive it a bit and compare files
Wasn't sure about the CCF changes, i see mentions of changing it from 1 to 2, is this for changing it between Petrol/Diesel? Or is it required to get the cluster to be set correctly?

oh, also borrowed an L405 cluster to read as well, and they looks completely alien. No VIN found on the L405, display part # area has a lot more text, and content in the middle is wildly different.
