I love the Isle of Wight, in particular where you live in Ventnor. I have been there many times with my mum and dad in the 60,s and 70,s and in later years with my own family The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

We have lived here for nearly 3 years now, and we wouldn’t consider ever going back to the mainland. Just miss a good indie to look after the disco!Nick

Love the IOW and a very good friend of mine is the one to thank for the Military road past Brighstone not collapsing into the Channel, he managed to sort the landslip out for a fraction of the money the council were going to spend on it Love the ice cream form the van at the layby overlooking Blackgang if it's still there Cheers Ian

I know that campsite very well....don't go too close to the edge thou!
I have fished under those cliffs many time and nearly wiped out by cliff falls.
Great views from up top....and loads of Dinosaur fossil hunting available on the beach below.
There are a couple of really good Garages on the Island for Land rovers....all indies...
