Collected today and very nice to meet you Rob.
An absolute beautiful machine and in impeccable condition (complete with all original packaging).
Very happy.
But as I've only worked with MS PCs to date, I've got an awful lot to learn.
Once you get the hang of it you will wonder why you didn't make the jump sooner When you are dead, you do not know you are dead. All of the pain is felt by others. The same thing happens when you are stupid.

Well today I set out on my journey to Mac OS, and oh what a world I discovered.
The light, the touch, the sound all totally out of this world.
Had a good wonder round, learning a lot and making a few changes in set up.
Even already, going back to my MS pc seems archaic, just like visiting a prehistoric world.
Why did nobody tell me beforehand.
Thoroughly enjoying the experience and big thanks again to Robbie. ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

These Apples seem to self-seed after using them for a few years. I am now running 5 Macs around the house, not including my daughter's MBP or the 2 spares in the cupboard...
I don't think it is an addiction watching the Finder sidebar grow:

I bought my first Mac for my company around 1989 and it had the built in screen. I can still remember assuring my business partner that we would never need another computer again! I’m about 12 Macs and numerous iPads and laptops down the line now and still have a couple of old towers sitting around. Anyone suggest a use for them now before iNdump them as they won’t work with latest Operating systems.
