Last night I was dreaming of parts, got a spreadsheet going for stuff I need to sell, just got to get organised and get stuff on sale. Amazing how much junk quality parts (at reasonable prices) I’ve accumulated.
And the wonga is in the bank. And SWMBO is already spending it.
PS With the probable price tag on the new Deafner I can guarantee I won’t be tempted.

Sounds like sale of the century time, better start saving my pennies ,
Good job its online and not being sold in person like a Black Friday (punchup) sale
Indeed think it’s supposed to be around the £40k range for the base model , alas don’t know if it’s being launched early 2019 or 2020
PS, make sure ur beloved doesn’t steal all the extra space as well

Yep a sad day but having something that expensive just sitting on the drive depreciating, needing taxed, insured and maintained is just daft. Not going to be going on a RT for a long while with what we’ve got planned so it makes it a very expensive drive ornament. Plus when it comes to looking for a newer car it’ll prob be a smaller 4x4, from a make that comes at the top of the reliability tables, not the bottom.
Well that's sad to hear, so does this mean no more techie advice? yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Del you should do what I did and buy a D2... simpler, much cheaper parts, and you know.... it's kinda fun having something that's now rather "classic" - went for a V8 too so it sounds great with the centre box removed
£2500 for a great condition 58k D2 V8 ES - that'll do nicely....
Let me know if you have any D2 bits when clearing out all the various parts.... MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
Prospeed rock/tree sliders w/steps
HSE Winter wheels
TransK9 B24
Travall Cargo Guard
Hatchbag

Well she now has a new owner, at least she’s been taxed so making that assumption. It’s been shade under 3 weeks since she went, it took a few days to stop doing a double take when looking towards where she was parked but soon(ish) got used to that. I’m still getting used to using a key to get in the car, keyless entry is too addictive. I don’t miss keyless start as never got used to that and glad to be cranking the car old school way.
Do I miss her? Not really. I will on long drives but not got many of those planned for a long while. When it comes the time to replace her properly it’ll prob be with something a lot smaller and cheaper to run, thinking XC40, XC60 or Karoq.
Just waiting for a “who had this car?” thread as she’s got a bright orange DISCO4.COM sticker on the back, along with Larry the Moose.
It's about time we had an update on this thread...…
Trouble is Del, you have Green Blood running through your veins. In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Down and out's Velar
In UK - Dare not say on this Forum
Gone - Lots of Lode Lane vehicles.
