Hope they allow you to buy that back cheaply Thumbs Up

Assume uneconomical repair rather than write-off, rippled boot floor I assume?

A car is a price of metal we insure, let them sort that.

Best wishes to all 😊
Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

Well the Skoda is a write off so they are now looking at Volvo’s v60 , I’ve had a few v70 and we have a v50 at the moment but I find the v50 a bit small Neutral

I’ve had three V70s. They’re solid pieces of kit. Reliable, comfortable and pretty ok fuel economy. Ours does 6.2 l/100 km.

The older V40 and V50 are significantly smaller and you can’t fit a stroller in the trunk and some other stuff (not a problem anymore but was at the time).

Sad to hear but at the end of the day, it's just a chunk of metal and rubber.

The wife runs a V60 R Design with all the toys. Awesome car. It's on a 12 plate and we've only had 1 big bill and this was a few weeks ago. The aux belt decided to crap itself. Batt went flat within 5 miles due to the car being so power hungry.
I'd have another in a heart beat. Even though I class it as a big bill, I had the aux belt changed and while they were in there I had the timing belt changed. And it was only £600 incl labour and parts. Not the best but not to sad in the big scheme of things.
Looking to sell it sometime soon and replace it with an Evoque, if I can find 1 in the correct spec and colour for the money
