More advice please, this time greenhouses. The first attempt
I'm looking for a small durable greenhouse around 6X4. In my back garden it can get quite draughty so i was looking for advice on what to buy. I don't want to spend a fortune so i thought about 5 to 6 hundred pounds would be my limit. Should I buy in wood or aluminium ? Should i have polycarbonate windows as opposed to glass ? Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

I'd avoid Polycarbonate. Because the polycarbonate panes are quite flexible, they'll come out in a good wind, and be spread all over the place. As it flexes, it pops out of the clips.
Glass is obviously stiffer, and less likely to come out.
Edit, this is my 16' x 10' I got for free, just had to collect it, and work out how to assemble it!

This place has a wide range of types, shapes and styles to choose from and often has great offers on ex-display and clearance stock.
I've not bought a greenhouse from them but have bought spares for my Alton greenhouse from them from time to time and the service has always been good.
Mine has normal horticultural glass rather than toughened but it always stands up to wind as being wood it doesn't flex. Given the choice again I'd go for toughened though.
A wooden greenhouse is a pain to paint every now and then though 2013/13 Discovery 4 HSE SDV6 - now sadly gone!

Thanks, with it only being 6x4 it won't take much painting The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;

I sold both mine on ebay, went for £33, but guy came and dismantled them
So my suggestion Mark, is to set up an eBay search say within 50 miles and you'll soon pick one up for much cheapness Iggy/Ieuan
