long shot.
I have been noting down the amount of jobs that need doing on my D3 and it is becoming very apparent that body off is probably the best thing to do.
I don't have access to a ramp or bottomless pockets to pay someone to do the work, more than capable myself too. But i do have access to some mobile lifting equipment and large stands.
Can anyone tell me how heavy is the D3 body minus chassis and power-train? 08 D3 TDV6 SE

ah the stands i can get wont be quite strong enough, they're only rated to 1200kg together, will have to rethink that bit.
Have 2 1.6m 1ton stackers so they'll be up to the job together. Will be bracing them for extra stability too.
Pictures to follow if / when i pull this crazy idea off.. 08 D3 TDV6 SE
