I done the same with repairing the front valve block and ended up replacing it , alas though u can replace one item which covers another fault
See how u get on with ensuring you’ve got no leaks , then look on the iid to monitor the valve blocks
Almost forgot , when u removed ur front valve block was it full of white dust plse, thks
Hope that may help

Thanks gstuart, that's some great advice. I'll get out there later and do a comparison with my vehicle.
You are correct, it's not a D3, it's a RRS but I thought it would be best to post in this thread because Endeavour has exactly the same problem and me and it would be good to consolidate the info.
Thanks again for the advice and I shall report back later today...
PS. no, the front valve block was really good. Only a very tiny amount of white residue so I just cleaned and lubricated with some silicone spray and installed new seals for good measure.Kev

just took some live readings with the IID
With the engine running the Gallery Pressure gets up to 1782 then drops back down to about 374
When dropping I can see all four corner valves reading 99.0%

Same here Endeavour.
I just shot some quick videos of the IID tool when raising and lowering:
Height and Calibration Values:
Height and Corner Valves:
Height and Height Sensors:
4x4 Screen:

So looking at the videos I shot, I can see that the difference between the before and after heights when going from Standard to Access are as follows:
Lowering Attempt 1
FL = 46mm drop
FR = 32mm drop
RL = 58mm drop
RR = 46mm drop
Lowering Attempt 2
FL = 38mm drop
FR = 23mm drop
RL = 55mm drop
RR = 45mm drop
Lowering Attempt 3
FL = 33mm drop
FR = 23mm drop
RL = 59mm drop
RR = 61mm drop
For me, it is evident that the front right corner is not dropping as much as the other corners and therefore the suspension system thinks it is stuck on an obstacle. Do you get the same Endeavour?
So I suppose the question is, what would cause the one corner of the car not to lower as much?Kev

Hi
From what I can see , ref Front raising slowly , there has to be a leak or faulty front valve block
It going into extended , as it’s been all correctly calibrated and checked with a tape measure , try unplugging height sensors to ensure the pins and wires are ok, sprayed each one to ensure there not sticking
From what I gather Height sensors work between the range of 0.5 v to 4.5 volts

If u disconnect the height sensor and check you should have 5V across red / yellow?
I also think u have to disable the suspension before pulling off a height sensor connector via the fuse , think it’s F26??
Plus looking at ur video Wonder why there all different voltages ????
Maybe one if the more experienced members can be so kind to confirm that

Thanks for the input gstuart. When I can get the car up on some stands, I'll check the voltages at the sensors and also do some soapy water tests to check for air leaks.
Endeavour, have you tried anything on yours yet?Kev

Just to report back on this, I changed the front airsprings and dampers today and the problem with 'going into extended mode when trying to go into access mode' is now fixed! It must have been a worn damper preventing the vehicle from moving down to the required height for access mode.
Here's the old vs new (Dunlop).
I hope this helps the OP.Kev
