Keyless System

Recently bought a 2012 HSE LR4, with most things working... However, there is an issue that doesn't really bother me but I thought if I could easily take a look it might be a simple fix.

The drivers door keyless pickup doesn't work. From reading bits it looks like this could be a bad connection to the antenna in the door (I also read plenty about this feature so bought a StopLock Pro and put a tracker on it). Does anyone have a link to a service manual or anything that would help me strip the door to check out the wiring? I work with electronics so am happy to diagnose but don't want to damage any panels taking things apart. Should I buy a Haynes manual? I did read about some bad connection issues either in the door or back in the car and thought if it is just a bad connection, some WD40 and a wiggle might sort it...

Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Steve
