Found it, it’s a traffic master tracker so if your bothered, let me know and I’ll delete this post.

aha, well done M3bobby. That's a good find. now we know! Security by obscurity.

If it is still being tracked it'll be from a previous owner, I have not subscribed but I have only had the car a year. Bit weird thinking they may have taken out a 3 year subscription and still have some control over it... Maybe I'll call trafficmaster up and check. Make sure it is safe to unplug the thing without setting off a police chase Laughing .

You think this thread should be deleted since it was installed in same place on two cars, probably same place on all.. People out there paying for it probably dont want location of it disclosed - though Im sure all the car thiefs already know this..

Its not a great location for a tracker, normally they are better hidden.

I might call up and see how much a subscription is with Trackstar, anyone know how much it can help discount your insurance?

Website says £168.00/1yr £399.00/3yr

Maybe I'll phone my insurance company find out what it can save me. if it pays for itself I'll reactivate and shove a load of crap in the cubby to hide it Laughing

It'll save me £8 a year on current policy if activated Laughing

Trafficmaster have said I can unplug it. Won't have any surprise visits from the cops Thumbs Up

For a would be theif, I would imagine a rear cubby is the first place they would look?

Probably identify that box pretty quick too.
