It is the same,but now relaunched with grub screw rather than
the spanner nut type.Original design was prone to cross threading
due to multiple detachments for reinflation over time.
How would you warranty claim on a USA supply 
The old style one was $390 here in Cairns TJM.

I was looking for these TPMS stuff on evil-bay and was seriously contemplating hitting the 'Buy' button on the item below:

Any more interested? I see there are/have been quite a few looking.
Poll runs for a month in total.
The ones on Ebay are still having issues with 'being removed'!?. They are for US$199 plus post of US$21 BUT look to have slight differences from the ones Tyredog sell, also Tyredog is local and sells through TJM and will give support, refund, maintenance etc if required. I can almost guarantee that the ones from US will NOT have any form of support.
The ones from Germany do not give actual pressure reading or temperature but rather just a coloured LED to show pressure is within set range. regards

As I may have managed to get the "wheel" rolling here on another thread, this would have prevented my problem of the dragging brake escalating into a real event. I am most interested in getting one set of 4. (Still haven't been able to pick up my wounded D3 in Dubbo. Ok, wasn't going to ask but as you are waiting for one more, I will
I would (being the lazy sod I am) would want to be able to inflate with them on. SO, how much for a set of 4 with the adaptors for on tyre inflation, with postage to melbourne, and is there a picture of this set up anywhere. Did not see it on the website, but maybe I missed it. (Just wondering how proud they would stand of the rim)

just spoke to Earle at TJM and he will look into :
1. the actual mounting of the sensors IE is it a grub screw or locknut
2. whether the 3 way valve is available (he feels it would sit quite proud of the rim and be at risk of being damaged/knocked off in 4WD situations)
I NOW need to know confirmation of numbers. Need 10 people confirmed to get the $340 price. THat price is for being picked up in one go and paid for all at once.
Now, I am happy to do this BUT I do live 4 hours out of Sydney! and if anyone who is interested in these lives nearer maybe they could pick them up?
The other issue of course is posting out to people or getting them to collect them. I do not know how much the box weighs but assuming in to be less than 500G it will be less than A$10 anywhere in Australia Express post is about A$10.50). regards

See my gallery for a differrent type. Check the limits & alarms of the unit. Mine has an off-road selection which will only give alarms at much lower pressures, from 1.4 bar compared to the on-road setting of alarms from 2.2 bar. Cost in RSA is R1,700 (AUS$240). The unit is imported from the East.
See http://www.tyrecheckers.co.za/car_products.htm although this site does not show the off-road model & the cost is negotiable.
Can inflate / deflate as is.
