Have I bought the right Burner glow plug - Servicing my FBH
I have a Disco 3 from 2007, diesel.
Earlier this year I replaced the FBH in April 2019 with a (2nd Hand older FBH model for 2004,2005,2006)
See image
Flack helped me fit the new unit and installed the BAS : FBH Heater Controller + did a remap /ERG Blanking.
He did a great job and everything has been running great, but since the weather here in Sweden has got cold, the FBH is timing out with Faults 1 02 01
It starts, the burner fires up and then fails, so I decided to service, decoke and replace the burner ready for the upcoming long Swedish winter
I ordered a new burner glow plug Pre-heater - LR010329 which was delivered OK last week.
see Image
I have now stripped my Old FBH and when I removed and inspected my old burner glow plug
Its slightly different from the burner which was delivered when compared side by side ?
See image
The main difference is = extra 2 black wires + connector and brown wire into the top of the burner, which I’ve highlighted in the image
See image : Left = New burner and Right = Old burner
Here are the two parts numbers of the burners and images
Old part = 9006328B & the new replacement part = 9016335A
Is this because the old 9006328B part has been superseded with the new version by LR?
Can I continue to use this new burner ? and simply not use this connector?
Any help would be great, as I need to quickly decide what to do next.
Either return the part to the UK and search for the correct replacement burner that matches my old one
Or continue to reinstall this burner and remove / not use the wires.
Cheers Jason

There is a blanking plug next to where the white plug goes, remove the blanking plug and push the extra plug in...
