A rather pointless if somewhat surprising video, make sure you watch to the very end!

I wonder if they’d both had more aggressive tyres on if the result would be the same.
The SVR has 40nm less than the SDV8. Which probably explains why the SDV8 is so effortless and relaxing to drive. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

I’ve not driven an SVR, but the sound is 8) The torque certainly makes it much more effortless, mine is 850Nm but I don’t know if you would notice the difference to an SVR which is a bit quicker than mine too. The video does show you how good LRs terrain response system is and how tasteless some modifiers are DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

The TR system may well be the critical factor.
Two friends have SVR’s. The ride is far too hard for my needs. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

It looked like the Merc had Pirelli ATR fitted. I thought that was the discerning choice... Visiting from rrsport.co.uk

I'm just going by the spare on the back door. I assume it's the same as the fitted tyres. Visiting from rrsport.co.uk
