They just make the best of everything they have.

My goal is to ride from Burnley to Blackpool (When the weather gets better) which on the bike route will be about 50 miles or so Thumbs Up

Before embarking on an epic journey, just be aware of the range.
Most current emtb's will only do around 30 miles per charge.
And when the battery runs out and you've got some climbs to do, it's much harder on an emtb than a standard mtb (due to the extra weight).
I talk from experience - I've got a Specialized Levo Carbon "fattie" and I've had to get off and push up some gravel tracks that I'd normally pedal up.
It really is tough going (without power) if you don't plan accordingly, even just long gentle rises on tarmac.

But enjoy, it's definitely the way forward imo. Thumbs Up

I agree it is. I can do nearly 70 miles on a full charge in the 2 lowest assistance modes probably more now that I have the new 625ah battery and the fancy Bosh CX line motor. In the highest assistance mode (Which i only use off road for steep uphill tracks as I mainly use MTB mode) i can still get 30 mile or so on average. When I do 25 to 30 mile (half on half off road) I come home with at least 40% battery left sometimes more Thumbs Up E Bike technology is moving fast (Excuse the pun Embarassed )
Not an exact science but will give you some idea ( I doubt I would get 115 miles Shocked )
