Working surface in vehicle
SWMBO suggests I post this request. When we travel, she normally takes a flask for tea or coffee etc. In previous vehicles she just pulled open the glove box to reveal a flat surface to put cups when pouring boiling water over the coffee etc. All LR provide is cup holders for travelling along, and lots of sloping surfaces.
Has anyone made a mod to help with this problem please.1955 SWB Series 1 86 inch

Something notably missing. The top of the centre cubby box folds back and over to give a bit of a surface but your best sat in the back to use it.MY06 S - Gone but not forgotten

I've just got a couple of big place mats I keep in the rear storage pockets of the front seats.
Ideal flat surface for when you stop for a pack lunch/take away sandwich & brew....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Do you have the passenger side dash mounted cupholder? It was a brilliant feature sadly removed in the 4. The D3 central cupholders are also better placed for using that the ones in the 4.
