im in discussion with the seller who works for LR , yes I understand the code maybe that at fault , I have an alloy cap so will fit that with fresh drier powder , weirdly as I left to go for work , having refitted my old comp , it ran without fault for a couple of miles and the bong ,

Why would you need a new driver or cap with a new compressor? My D3 Build Thread

Might be the valve blocks need new seals in them if the dessicant has go into the pneumatic pipes..
OR a hole in the air tank is a common and often overlooked problem as it looks fine from underneath... however a small pin hole on the top (usually at the front top side) is quite a common issue.
often with air suspension its a fault that is 'further down the line' that throws the codes up..
just a thought.. not expensive to look at1 TR6 Rusting away quietly

Hi
Ref the air tank, I found using a brake vacuum hand pipe ideal to test them, just by pulling the pipe off the reservoir valve and connecting the vacuum gauge in there
Also used it on valve blocks to ensure the seals weren't letting by , or testing lines etc
Even the larger oil extraction units with an inline gauge and isolating valve can be also used, easier with it to pull a vacuum with being larger
Hope it may be of use

Update , spent a while this morning on the fault , i think this new comp is ok and the C1a13 fault lies with the resevoir valve , i remove it , blew it out with airline, stripped the valve , freed it off , rebuilt and the car rose to normal height just fine then bong so do we think i may need a new res valve ??

after yesterdays post I did a couple of errands and then had a 15 mile drive to a friends house , got no warnings pop up for about 11 miles , very odd , I have Delphi which does give data I don't think and a specific tool I bought from America that I haven't had time to install yet , ive noted on other threads where GAP is used there is another 2 digits will this nail down where the fault is ? I may be able to get it onto a GAP tool if that's the case ??
