Hows the fit and finish of the surround?
Which options did you go for, I see they mention about CarPlay etc?
Any concerns or problems with it so far? messages in Chinese for instance or things not working as expected?
Do you lose any functionality and does the steering wheel controls still work?
Cheers,
Darren.
The fit and finish is perfect, looks oem, I did not go for built in CarPlay but there is a wireless dongle available.Stefan at NaviHua speaks English and is on WhatsApp.No functionality lost, everything on the original Land Rover is still there. I didn’t have get involved with steering wheel controls, everything works as before. Those grid lines on reverse screen can be removed in settings

So far it’s amazing, the screen resolution even in bright sunlight is so vibrant my photos don’t do it justice.
It is still early days but no negative so far.

How does it interface with the audio side? Does it contain optical connectors for the MOST bus or just AUX?

Also, does it piggyback to the OBD connector or interface direct with the CAN for speed and rpm (screenshots imply at least these are obtained somehow)?

There is no optical connection to the MOST,there is a connection to the Aux. I can not detect any detrimental effect on the sound system.
As I explore the UI over the coming days I will post updates.

No connection to the obd,so it must be from the can through the Y harness. It really was plug and play. The new harness has two usb connections for dongles,tv,dab,4g or whatever. There is also an rca for extra cameras.
