Under Water Audio System

Hi, as always when in trouble who you gonna call...?

Put the old lady into the valetters for an interior clean particularly the driver's seat which had become a reportable bio hazard. They managed to get the seat clean but drenched it water ect in doing so. After a couple of days siting on towels it's now dry but I'm now left with one (just) working speaking. The heating elements work OK.

Can anyone point me in the direction of the possible waterlogged components?

Cheers.

PS 256,000 miles and still on the original oil pump[/b]

The higher spec model have the amp under the drivers seat.

Move seat forward and look from the back you see if you can see a metal unit with connectors and green wires

Hello Pete. Yes, found what I take to be the amp...with drip marks from the washed seat in the dust! And soaking wet rear carpets. The dopes put the rubber mats back over the drenched carpets. It was valletted last Monday and is still soaking wet.

I think I will have to wait until everything is dry...hopefully any moisture affecting the audio cables will dry out in due course.

Many Thanks.
