It would be highly useful to replace the two short quick disconnect lines on the low pressure side of the HPFP. One has the the bleed valve on it. These are no doubt very brittle and stiff with heat making fitting difficult. These donot seem to be available as a spare part. Have others made up their own using generic connectors and fuel hose?

I’m considering tackling this on my Disco 4 3.0SDV6.
Can anyone shed light on the differences between the two and what different tools are required?
I’ve read that you need to time this pump to the engine, whereas the D3 doesn’t need it?

Hi,
Best I can do for you is the part number for the fuel feed pipe to the pump (with the Schrader bleed valve in it) is WJP501960. Found on Rimmer Brothers site in the UK.
The return pipe from the oil / fuel cooler housing to the HP pump is LR005687, and looks like you need to source from a main dealer. These part numbers are for EU4 vehicles from VIN 7A000001.
I think there is another pipe that links the low pressure return side of the pump to the tank return. I'll let you know if I find it
