I had a WW policy on my first FL2 several years ago. Bought the car from LR approved and after a year the clutch went. My garage took it to bits and found the slave cylinder had gone, contaminating the flywheel and clutch plate.
WW wanted to send out their engineer to have a look but couldn't sort it for at least 2-3 weeks, which would have left me without a car. So my indy took loads of pics, put it back together and said it was ok to drive until WW pulled their finger out.
The engineer eventually came out, car was stripped again, he agreed it had gone and was covered and his written report backed that up.
WW refused to pay out as they said I had caused it fail by continuing to drive it, even though their own engineer was on my side.
I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole personally2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

I had a few quotes of WD for different D4's I've been thinking of buying. All around the 90-100K mileage mark so prices were high. After finding WD no longer selling to the public (not sure if they would honour an existing quote??), I did a bit of googling and I think I fund it on pistonheads, someone said they use Motoreasy. They had a D4 and had it I writing off them that they would cover the crank for know crank failures. I had a quick look and for D4 I hope to buy they want around £80 a month for £50 contribution and limited labour up to about £65. Unlimited labour took it up to about £110 a month.
Motoreasy will of course tell you they will cover the crank, but then when a claim is made you will be in a losing battle.
The parts covered list includes handbrake cables - guess what happened when my EPB packed in.....
Their T&C's state that they are not an insurance company and all claims are paid 'at the discretion of Motoreasy' in other words if they decide they're not paying then that's that.

ISTR Motoreasy isn’t an insurance backed product, so no recourse to insurance ombudsman. OK, not an issue if something small but deffo an issue if something large, spiny and V-shaped in the front.
From discussion a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.

Some of you may find this interesting. The owner of warranty wise, Lawrence Whittaker who also owns Lister Cars has a 2016 disco, they used for delivering Lister cars.
