I’m all about supporting the boys and the national sport, but I think my sons primary school may be taking it a bit far with the message we just received
“ If your child is a football fan and they are staying up to watch the match on Sunday, they can sleep in a bit longer on Monday - please get them in by 10.30am. Thank you.”

Probably won't be an issue round here ... heard one school has declared their Year 9s should do distance learning from today as so many of them have triggered the "needs to isolate" warning that there would only be a handful in school ... and that's because they were due to return from isolation next Monday.
And just getting a rumour coming through of Year 8 getting same treatment.
Still, at least no-one is forced to wear masks
