P1247-00 fault code
Hi all
Why do things go wrong when you need your Disco, our D4 2010 has been going in to restricted power today, when checking the fault code I get P1247-00 turbo boost pressure low, I also get a strange noise from the air filter area like letting air out of a balloon, checked the air filter and I have oil In the filter, changed filter but to no avail, I have checked the forum but I am still not sure of where the fault lies, I really need to get this sorted ASAP
All help really appreciated 🤞Discovery 3 SE gone but not forgotten.

Thanks Sea Reader
I will check out possible faults tomorrow, I see it doesn’t mention the CSOV as this was one of the faults I thought it might be but will also check.Discovery 3 SE gone but not forgotten.

Well people
Thanks to this wonderful forum and Disco_Mikey for pointing me on the right direction for the resolve for the CSOV, I think I have solved my problem, valve was stuck, easy to access, to be on the safe side I will order the repair kit and fit as soon as, again thank you.Discovery 3 SE gone but not forgotten.

Just sharing my experience on my 2009 TDV6 -
Same error intermittent once a month maybe, and then started to get more regular to almost daily just running to the shops and back. I was at the point where we would rather use the wife's car as I wanted to get rid of the D4 as a result.
I downloaded the PDF with the tech bulletin showing all the things to check for. All seemed OK as well as the dreaded inlet manifold crack...
So, when running my fingers on the bare two wires close to the solenoid, I felt a stung and on close inspection saw that the 2 wires were chaffed at the top, with one thin wire sticking out touching the other wire. Taped it up and problem did not appear on a 150Km trip yet.
I still cannot figure why the wires were chaffed - it sits neatly under the plastic cover?
Was thinking it could have been rodents, but only those 2 wires.... I don't think so.Proud owner of an IIDTool

That's because you don't have a D4 yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
