ive made the wires longer to reach behind the dash up to the screen them only the two feeds from the fuse box fuse 53 and 56 and the red n brown is side light feed i think ive put the phone cable in and just joined the red and blue to the drivers kick panel but nothing workimg yet had the landrover logo on when i powered the screen but no sound and says no phone connected is this because i need the d3 telling it fitted now

LR logo stuck on and no sound is typical of a fault on the orange optical bus.
Either disconnected, broken or a ECU with no power or broke.
It could be because of the config, but check the above first.
The orange tubes can be checked by seeing if there is one red light visible or by shining a torch at one end and checking the other to see if 1 white dot
Did you fit the TMS unit and power it?

tms unit if i unplug one most at a time and look there is a red light in one side

As long as there are no spare orange connectors it should be ok

no i left the nokia unit in that has the most lead in it should i put the tmc in as well

As long as the orange optical tubes are all connected.

ill wire the screen tomorrow then get it on land rover diag hopefully that will sort it

well after looking over both looms i can say if ide looked properly at them i only needed to remove a small bit of the loom for the nav drive as everything else was the same after removing the lot now to power it up and then git it on land rover diagnostics and set to the car unless someone lives neer durham with iid tool that can do it

Well after wishing I never started it to finding out I only needed one bit of loom from the nav unit and the top most cables to this
Now I’m happy just need the 4x4 setting opening up and anything else and my original phone system is fully working happy days and a huge thanks to Pete k for the info and keeping me right when I was looking for the matches

i never give in but couldnt belive when i got it turned on it all works just need the 4x4 stuff on i might put the logic 7 amp in now but thanks again for the helpfull advice and this weekend ill try and wire in the wifes premium system in place of the base unit fitted she wants the sat nav and 6cd unit but it comes with subwoofer rear d piler speakers and amp then front dash and center speakers i love a chalange

No changes yet nothing worked tuned radio on off 3 times ignition on off 3 times then on and all working radio nav phone just need 2 mini blade piggy back fuses
