Rear Knuckle Bush - LR032644
Good Morning,
I have a question that I'm sure somebody will have the answer to. Can the lower rear knuckle bush be renewed with the knuckle still in-situ or does the entire assembly have to come off the vehicle? Doesn't look like a nice job in any case. Mine might need doing, depends what the MOT man says on Monday
Thank you.

Yes, it is possible. You'd need a 'bush puller kit' to get the old bush out. But to be honest, by the time you've dismantled enough to get to the lower bush, you might as well put a lower arm on. You will need the geometry resetting either way.Richard

yes it can i purchased the tool (about £60 from the bay) to do it in situ, very easy if your competent with spanners you wont need alinement as the joint is fixed but youwill need a circlip for the bush as there not reusable after getting it offplease excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick, thankyou

Thank you both for your replies. I thought it should be possible by looking at it but it's good to get confirmation. eightfoot; would you happen to have the details and/or a link to the tool please just in case? Thank you.

rear suspension bush tool p/n 5977 laser tools, when i got it i looked at cheaper tools but was not convinced they would do the job and i also thought/think you can buy extra spacers to do the top bushes instead of buying another full tool to do them
seem to recall it took longer to get the tools out and jack the car up than changing the bush also just double checked online the bolt is a normal bolt so no re-aline neededplease excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick, thankyou
