Funny enough with my base modeI done the same in buying the Auto switch as intend to fit the front fogs , along with replacing my headlights with D4 xenons , A bar - plus spots
Did check the 2 x connectors were behind my drivers side headlight , being the fogs and PDC connectors , as indeed mentioned I had to buy that front loom as well , already had the rear PDC sensors fitted
One upgrade I did which I’ve found really useful is the heated windscreen washer jets
Hi @ Nika
bet the heated seats are very nice , mine came with manual cloth seats , bought a pair of non heated electric memory seats , removed all the seat wiring and memory ecu then just made up new looms so I didn’t get the normal 2 x second burst , massive difference in comfort , particularly supporting behind ur knees
Hope all goes well with the upgrades

Wiring is there, blanked off behind drivers RH head lamp.
While I've got you there, what side is your bonnet release lever? Mines on the left hand side, passenger foot well. It bugs me that when I pull into petrol station and I want to check oil and water levels, I have to get out, walk around to the left side of the car, open passenger door to release the bonnet. Every other car I've owned the bonnet release is on the drivers side. Can it be swapped over to be on the right hand side?

That’s great it’s there, otherwise would have been a royal pain trying to add it
Yep, also on the passenger side on my RHD drive landy , same on the LHD as well I believe so would assume by that it’s not possible
Must admit haven’t seen anyone changing it over to the driver RHD side and agree would make life easier if it was on the drivers side

Hi Ruben
If you see this post can you help me select what rear view mirror and covers I need. There are several options available on Ebay so I'm a bit confused. As you have done the conversion, you will know best.

Hey Ruben
I hope you are enjoying your beer I'm shouting you, have another one!
Another question, does the mirror come with the attachment to the glass. Also does it come with a cover to hide the wires.

I hope this helps!!!
and remember, in my gallery you can open the images to see the details !!!...are internet images, I had my own photos of the components of this whole process, but it was some time ago (2017) and I have lost them, which is a shame.
I forgot to tell you that the photosensitive mirror will be activated just by plugging it into its socket if it is properly preserved for use ,it does not need any activation, do not look for it in the CCF
and the windscreen have the rest of attachment for the mirror and sensor!!

I've been buying parts to retro fit both rain sensor and front fog lamps.
so far I have:
rain sensor
Head lamp switch with auto and pull out front fog lamps
Rear view mirror with auto dim
Rear view mirror covers
Wiring loom for front bumper fog lights only (my D3 does not have front parking sensors)
LH and RH bezels
Still to turn up in post - LH and RH fog lamps and relay for fuse box by battery
Note - Wife is yet to see the Visa card bill
Was booked in to the windscreen repair shop next week. Had a call from them today. The windscreen they had for me (Pilkington) was damaged in transit. It was the only one in the country. Couple of months wait for another one.
They can however get the screen which I currently have on the D3 (mine is damaged - large crack - insurance claim), It is a heated screen but no rain sensor or auto mirror attachment and no cut out square in the black part for the rain sensor.
See my photo of the 2nd hand rain sensor that I have got. What am I missing - is there a lens that is glued to the screen? Or is what I have directly stuck to the screen? I think there is something missing. Also I am missing the attachment for the mirror. Ruben posted a picture of the windscreen he fitted but I can't quite work it out.
Advice please - do I wait for the proper screen to arrive (could be several months) or go with the the non rain sensor screen?
Thanks
Blake

Hi, the sensor is like this, on the screen that will come, if it is the correct one, you have the 50% that you are missing, look at it in my photo, that rectangle fits with your sensor. except for the screen, I think you have everything, see the support for the mirror at the top in my photo too. THE IMPORTANT THING IS that You need to have the correct screen if you want everything to work after editing the CCF! , I INSIST, WITH NOT THE CORRECT SCREEN, IT WILL NOT WORK!!
good luck!lost in translation!

You don't need a front fog relay. USA cars had these, to turn the fogs off, when main beam on.
If you can see 4 metal contacts in the relay base, then you need it/something
