okay thanks, not so bad then. I have access to a pit and transmission jack so could probably do it in a day if it fails..... and i end up keeping the motor with this ulez expansion on the way.

It's all LUK. DMF, friction plate and cover. Genuine LR concentric slave cylinder.

LUK are the OEM for the clutch & DMF, thanks to Ford, actually, they make some good stuff.
The transfer box breather would make sense for the oil coverage, maybe drain it and check for emulsification?

There you go Gary. Bit oily inside. No sign of rear main crank seal leaking. I'm going to leave that well alone!
Will give it a clean up before I put the new stuff in. Thumbs Up

Hi @richard

Thank u so much for the pics and very interesting , blimey that looks tight , still it wouldn’t be a Land Rover if it was easy, lol

Do u think ur replace the crossover pipe with a stainless steel one with the box out plse or leave well alone

Plus don’t know if this is of any help but got some of these UJ crow feet and found them brilliant getting onto awkward nuts, bolts , assume you’ve already got cordless impact wrenches etc , but really found the extended Milwaukee ratchet with a long extension bar and socket also very useful , hope u didn’t mind me mentioning it

Good the rear seal is ok to save u the hassle of changing it , hope all goes well and back a lot easier , plus thks again for the pics , very grateful

Nope! I've never seen a clutch kit with included alignment tool.

Citroen & Peugeot dealer clutch kits have them included, plastic ones, but resilient enough to still be useful after a dozen or so aftermarket clutch replacements.
I use one of these most of the time,

works perfectly on D3 clutches, provided you take the time to set it up correctly before torquing up the pressure plate - never had to realign or replace the DMF roller bearing due to incorrect alignment angle.
