Noticed the battery felt down on power when starting during this cold snap, I know my high level brake light has three cells that glow dimly constantly so I thought I’d try get to the bottom of it, connected my amp meter in line with the battery to see what was being drawn but my basic meter didn’t show anything, so I but that back together and checked the voltage at the high level brake light, I got 4.7v so I pulled fuses to see if I could find where the voltage was coming from, tried a few in the glove box for heated windows etc no change, went to the engine compartment and worked through the mini blade fuses and one larger FL 11 that looked like it’s associated to the radio again no change, that was me out of time, I’ve now been on the school run and have many faults….stability control, EBD, emergency brake, ABS faults / not available, I’ve checked all the fuses I pulled and none have blown, disconnected the battery and shorted the ends together, no change, GAP doesn’t show any faults I’m not aware of, anyone got any ideas what I’ve done?

When I was a youngster on my YTS the chap I worked with said ‘always make a note of connections and layout before you take anything apart’ thankfully I still do to this day

Even if IIDTool doesn't see any fault, just choose to "clear faults".
You could have a surprise !
