Im not struck on that Andy especially at that price. Why don't you want a foxwing going all the way around ?The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
They just make the best of everything they have.

I’ve had a 270 awning before and didn’t really get on with it. Never used it much and got rid of it in the end.
Granted it’s a bit pricey. If the Foxwing 180 is cheaper then that would be at the top of the list. Just can’t find a price though D4 MY15 SE TECH

Think a arb awning will give you more cove for a lot less money , I’ve now got the 2.5 m one for the trailer and it’s great -------------------------------------------------
if you cant hold on dont let go , it ill come in handy for something even if you never use it.

I do not think that the Foxwing 180 has reached the UK shores yet.
Very much doubt if it will be in the UK before April/May time
As for UK price have no idea

XP-Edition are a Swiss based firm which also has a warehouse in Austria to meet the German and Austrian markets. They will not readily send items to the U.K.

I keep coming back to the Batwing 270 awning. I did have a 270 awning in the past, albeit another make, and never really got on with it for a few reasons. However the Batwing does away with all but one of those reasons so may well end up with that one plus it’s a bit cheaper as well
Thanks for all the replies though

Thought u would like that
Funny enough I like some of the ARB bits , as I just want one that enclosed that’s fixed so can just roll it out , plus having the extra bits if I later on want them
But alas this will be my first awning , not like ur goodself who knows what does and doesnt work according to ur requirements , plus with it just being me need something that’s easy to roll out
Also like the ones that have the legs / poles all built in
Those bat wings do look very nice with the extra cover

Well if you are after a road trip you could take one to Bad Kissingen in June, XP-Pedition are normally there so you could inspect a Foxwing 180 in the 'flesh' so to speak.
What issue with the Batwing is still a slight concern for you?
