Ah so it’s a plastic tray that’s missing? Wonder how much LR will charge for that! Might this be a good time to upgrade to something more substantial?

You're missing the underbody skid plate. Probably been left off because the person who removed it hadn't got the strenght to lift it for refittment Second hand one here if you're after one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403616189286?ep...R_bhq96oYgFaultmate MSV2 EXTREME

That's the one under the engine isn't it? I have that one. The gap is below the transmission. Can't seem to find any listing for one of those and not even sure if it's metal or plastic.

The panel you are after is made of a black plastic type material, with a metal shield attached to the upper part of it, to protect it from heat from the catalytic converter. Try and get one fitted if you can, as the gear selector linkage will suffer badly from being exposed like that. D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.

Hey there, thanks a lot for the part number(s)! My car's been feeling naked without it, and those indie mechanics were as clueless as a penguin on a surfboard.
Right-o!
Now, just before our epic journey to the Alpes, where we conquered the mighty Col du Parpaillon and other mountain trails, I had to improvise. After some rummaging through the garage, I found some chicken wire, and got busy. Let your imagination fly, it's ugly but hey, it's working like a charm. Now, I'm on a quest to find a used KRB500033... Wish me luck!
Cheers,
Oli

Thanks. Is this for a D3 as well? It only lists D4 as applicable on one of the websites it showed up on.
